The SpamGate Spam Firewall appliance or software includes all the features needed to eliminate your spam and completely protect your email server from all forms of attack. Email may be blocked, quarantined, tagged, or delivered based on the policies of your company. You can even customize an individual email address as needed for special employees.
If a message is detected as spam, SpamGate takes the following actions:
- Store the message in the SpamGate quarantine folder for user review
- Automatically delete the spam message
- Modify the subject line to indicate “Spam” for individual filtering
- Modify the message header for individual filtering and Exchange SCL filtering
- Forward the spam message to a common mailbox
- Reject or bounce the spam message back to the sender and keep a copy
